There will be FOUR days of music with the first two festival shows in Arenal. - Friday, March 28 at Hotel Lago Arenal •$5 door, food & bevs xtra - Saturday, March 29 at Casa Mariposa •$25, gourmet feast included! (kids free of course): Then a three hour drive west to Playa Del Coco (next to Playa Hermosa): - Monday, March 31 at bar La Vida Loca Join our friends and some locos for a rippin’ beach gig, as the sun sets, hosted by Jim Jensen, an Oregon native and music lover who has found the good life with his bar La Vida Loca at the Playas del Coco! •$15, full buffet feast included! -Food at 6pm, Music starts at 7pm - Tuesday, April 1st on the Ship of Fools! We’ll go out at 9AM on a boat named the Don Bosco.  The boat holds 30 people, so let’s Grass It Up with Bruce Hayes on the waves… join us as we sail to Playa Huevos, for snorkeling in a beautiful bay with islands out front, caves, and gorgeous white sand.  Eat, drink and dance like fools!  9am departure from Playas Del Coco, Bar La Vida Loca, 5pm return.  Day Price includes fruits, salads, full sandwich bar, chips and dips, and dessert. This quartet of Lavapalooza pioneers will be crankin’ and croonin’ original tunes as well as pickin’ bluegrass covers of Phish, the Dead, Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Snoop Dog.  Also coming to help spin Lavapalooza on its axis is veteran picker and entertainer Bruce Hayes from Hayward, Colorado. Bruce is known for his original compositions on which he plays the mandolin, acoustic and electric guitars, lap steel, 6 -string bass guitar, and foot-board.
